Season’s greetings from Minister Coralee Oakes
As we move into the holiday season, I’d like to take a moment to wish you the best of the season and a Happy New Year.
Thank you for your contributions over the past year as we continue to modernize B.C.’s liquor laws, increase consumer choice and convenience, and promote safe and healthy choices about alcohol consumption.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Doug Scott for his leadership over the past three years in managing the operations of LCLB, while overseeing significant changes with the implementation of the Liquor Policy Review recommendations. As you likely know, Doug will be moving on in new year to a new role with the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation.
May your holiday season be filled with great food and good cheer. Happy holidays!
Minister for Small Business, Red Tape Reduction and Responsible for the Liquor Distribution Branch
