Thank you for your contributions over the past year as we continue to modernize B.C.’s liquor laws, increase consumer choice and convenience, and promote safe and healthy choices about alcohol consumption.


BC Govt appointment: Asst Deput Minister of LCLB

Effective January 9, 2017, Doug Scott, currently Assistant Deputy Minister of Liquor Control and Licensing Branch (LCLB), will be taking on a new role with the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation as Assistant Deputy Minister, Negotiations and Regional Operations.  Apart from managing the ongoing operations of the LCLB, Doug was instrumental in leading substantial change to British Columbia’s liquor licensing regime through the Liquor Policy Review and the successful passage of the new Liquor Control and Licensing Act and Regulation which takes effect in January, 2017.
