LCLB Policy Directive 16-4: New minimum liquor prices at all retail stores

Policy Directive 16-04 announces new minimum liquor prices in Licensee Retail Stores (LRS), Wine Stores and Manufacturer On-site stores. The same policies will apply to BC Liquor Stores (i.e. LDB stores) and Rural Agency Stores. These prices will come into effect May 1, 2016.

LCLB Policy Directive 16-2: New special licence for 100% BC Wine

Please see the attached Policy Directive 16-02.

This policy directive announces the creation of the new special wine store licence for the sale of 100% B.C. wine from grocery store shelves, and establishes auctions to determine eligibility for grocery stores to apply for this licence.

Change to SIR: Serving It Right requirements for ALL beverage servers

Effective immediately, all licensed agents and their sales staff in British Columbia must have a Serving It Right certificate. To apply for the SIR certificate, go to www.servingitright.com

Foreign representatives of foreign liquor manufacturers who serve liquor in B.C. are exempt, provided they are under the supervision of those with Serving It Right or Special Event Server certification.
