My name is Francesca Ciacci, I have a winery in Montalcino (Italy) producing Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG RISERVA, Rosso di Montalcino DOC and two IGT red wines where the Sangiovese is blended with other kinds of grapes.
We produce a traditional Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino aged in big barrels of Slovenia oak, in vineyard years by years we changed the canopy management to protect more the grapes from the sun (we are located in the south of Montalcino territory), so I think our Sangiovese is traditional in the cellar and modern in vineyard..
Brunello 2010 is almost sold out, it was a very good vintage, I am really interested in promoting all my wines in British Columbia.
