BCLDB Core Size Agreement
Update on a slight adjustment to the LDB policy related to the standard core size for spirits. While the policy continues to follow the Canadian Association of Liquor Jurisdictions (CALJ) Core Size Agreement, the exception criteria has been updated so that a non-standard bottle size may only be approved for registration if the product is "premium priced". "Premium priced" is defined as the product having a wholesale selling price of at least $50. For a summary of premium prices by fluid quantity, please go to https://wholesale.bcldb.com/resources/vendors, scroll down to the heading LDB/CALJ Core Size Policy.
This change provides a more simple set of guidelines and ensures that consumers continue to have access to premium products.
